Grif told the titan watcher the plan to restore Hati, and Thorim immediately teleported to Silithus: The Wound. They fought against the essence and once defeated, absorbed into Thunderspark, which freed Thorim. Grif and Theodore arrived there only to find Thorim incapacitated and the Essence of Hati by corpses of enemy vrykul and proto-dragons. Grif and Theodore defended the Image of Mimiron from projections when they were trying to locate Hati's essence. ĭuring the Fourth War, Grif and his companions traveled to the Inventor's Library in the Storm Peaks and met with Mimiron once again in order to save Hati's spirit.

Both Mimiron and Thorim mistake him for Brann Bronzebeard, which greatly annoys him. As they explored the Tomb of the Old Kings, defeating ghosts and disabling traps, with the assistance of an Image of Mimiron they killed Warlord Volund and found Titanstrike. With his animal companions, the two hunters traveled from Dalaran to Shield's Rest in Stormheim on the Broken Isles where the dwarf reunited with Prustaga. He helped a hunter adventurer retrieve Titanstrike.
